This morning I went to return a can of green tea that I received for Christmas. I don't like green tea so I wanted to exchange it for Awake tea at Starbucks. So I went through the drive through and asked if I could just exchange it. (I didnt' have receipt because it was a gift, but it was not opened.)
Well, the guy at the window preceded to tell me about their store policies asking me if the can had been opened......yada yada......yada yada.... and informed me that they weren't allowed to put it back on the shelf. I told him it was no big deal, that I could just give it to a friend who likes green tea, no big deal.
He said, "Just hold on a second".
The dude comes back with a can of Awake tea. He decided to buy the Awake tea and give it to me and just keep the green tea for himself.
He upheld the store policies but went out of his way to make my day and give me my Awake tea.
I was just shocked. And incredibly blessed.
What a great way to start off 2012!
