Time really does go by soooo fast. You really do have to take as much in as possible.
One of my favorite memories of Autumn was being called into school for a parent/teacher conference when she was 4 years old. The teacher felt like she needed to be held back in K4 (K4 mind you). Not because of her academics, which were excelling, but because of her "lack of confidence". Haha! (If you know Autumn at all you know how foolish this sounds.) Anyway..
The reason they felt like she "lacked confidence" was because of this:
One day at recess she went up to the biggest kid on the playground and got up in his face and said "You think you are bigger than me, but you are not!"
Now granted - that may sound a little strange- but what they didn't know was that every day we would instill certain spiritual concepts into her. At this particular time we were reminding her that she was a spirit, who had a soul, who simply dwelt in a rather petite body. And that there was nothing to big for her to take on if God was in her and on her side. That whatever He called her to, she could handle.
Obviously this was playing out in the natural!
And I have enjoyed watching her throughout her life look into the face of "big things" and say "you are not bigger than me". And I cannot wait to see what "big" things God will use her to conquer in her lifetime.
