This past Saturday two lovely ladies fulfilled visions that God placed within their hearts and ministered to over 200 elderly people in our local nursing homes.
Linzee, my ten year old daughter, organized Muffins for Mawmaw, baking and selling muffins to buy socks for the elderly. You can read all about it at www.crosstraininginternational.blogspot.com .
Deanna, an amazing 17 year old young lady who is very close to our family, organized Pots of Joy. Over forty people came together Friday night to paint flower pots and plant flowers. The purpose of these Pots of Joy were to brighten up the rooms of the elderly and bring JOY to their hearts. And that's just what they did!
We had the opportunity to share God's love and pray with several people. One particular lady just kept saying over and over "how beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful".
I'm so proud of these two girls for loving God and loving people!
