I went to lunch yesterday with one of my favorite young women of God. We were just catching up on all God has been doing in our lives.
As we were chatting and eating chips and salsa, bragging on God, the Lord reminded me of something.
The way you live your life gives others permission to live theirs a certain way.
When you dream, you give others permission to dream.
When you step out in faith, you give others permission to step out in faith.
When you “DO”, you give others permission to “DO”.
Now obviously, God has already given us faith and permission to DREAM and a command to DO. But there is something (almost like an anointing) that is released when you step out in faith and dream and do. It’s contagious. It’s inspiring. It’s God’s empowerment at work!
Think about it - when you hear someone tell you a story of how they’ve always wanted to _______, so they just decided to do _______, and then they did ______! Doesn’t it help release you to do what’s in your heart to do.
Doesn’t it make you feel a little less crazy for daring to dream! Doesn’t it push you to take that step of faith and do it!
