These boots were made for walking and not tubing on the snow!
We ended our Mid-West Tour by ministering at Skate Church in Steamboat, Colorado. (Check out XMC Masters on facebook for pics.) God moved mightily that night. It was amazing.
But before that we spent an evening tubing down the mountain in the snow. It was a blast as you can tell by the look of my favorite boots. They clocked us at 39 miles an hour. It was great. My boots got ripped up when I put them down to stop myself from flying over the edge. (But incase you were wondering - the fun was sooo worth it! I love tubing!)
This tour was filled with so much fun and ministry opportunities. So many connections were made. It was all around awesome. But I am sooooo glad to be home! :)
One of the things that I enjoyed witnessing the most on tour was when God used my Linzee Bug. Linzee met this cute little 12 year old girl the night we were ministering in Denver.
At the end of service, during the alter call, Linzee could tell the little girl had something on her heart. She leaned over and whispered asking her if she felt something in her heart. She said yes. Linzee said, "Well that's Jesus. You should go on up there and pray." After a little more chatting, the little girl listened and went up.
One hour later this little girl, Linzee Bug, and several XMC ladies were still sitting around crying and praising God. I won't go into the details surrounding this precious child, but she has known much rejection and pain. It was such a privilege to watch healing take place in her right before our eyes.
Her mother asked me to meet Linzee on Sunday. She told me that the only reason her daughter went up to the alters was because the "little girl in glasses" told her she should go. She said "My daughter got saved that night and I'm so thankful."
On a funny side-note: when all the girls were sitting around crying, Josiah comes up to me and says "Oh my gosh, Mom, how much water do they have in them? They're crying an ocean. Somebody needs to get them a bucket!"
Gotta love JOJO!
